Privacy Policy for BPM

BPM is published on the App Store as Listen BPM by Remote U LLC.

Data collection

Remote U LLC does not collect personal data through BPM.

BPM uses the microphone only after you tap Listen, and only while that session is on screen. The app measures tempo from the audio in memory. It does not record the audio to a file, upload it, or send it to Remote U LLC. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDK.

Leaving the app ends the session. BPM does not keep a history of tempos.

You can revoke microphone access in Settings at any time. Because BPM does not keep the audio or a tempo history, there is no stored data to delete.

Microphone

iOS shows its microphone indicator while Listen is running. You can stop listening in the app, or turn microphone access off in Settings.

If you long-press the tempo, BPM copies that number to the system pasteboard. The pasteboard stays on your device. Remote U LLC does not receive it.

Device backups

BPM does not store a tempo history. Apple may still include the app in an iCloud or computer backup under your own device settings. Those backups are handled by Apple, not by Remote U LLC.

Purchases

BPM is free. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.

Children

BPM is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

Updates to this policy replace this page and change the date above.
